12 Days of Christmas Day 12

12 Days D12-1I know I am very late today, I never meant to post so very very late. I am sure it’s because I took on to much for today’s post, but I hope you will think it’s worth it. I really appreciate your patience.

I look forward to this event, each year I’ve had my blog opened I’ve done something for Christmas. Last year, I had made a lot of tree patterns, and I had remembered that Janeen also does a 12 days event on her blog. I wrote her and asked if we could do it together and it’s been fun to do it last year and this year. This year, we got together on the same project and came up with the Gingerbread Village for you. This is a fun way to bring people to our blog, and still say Thank You for visiting. We hope you’ll come back for more next year.

So, first, a Huge Huge Huge Thank You for visiting me this year, visiting Janeen, encouraging us to bring you the best of what we have to offer you. It’s a real delight to hear or read a great comment, or see a thank you, or even just wishing us well because you may not have seen us post for awhile. Believe me, if you weren’t visiting, I doubt I’d still be running a blog.

So let’s get to the nitty and the gritty.. Today’s last release… I have for you the Sledding Ginger pattern featured in Block 9 of Janeen‘s pattern. Train 08, which I affectionately have penned it with the name of The Love Train, and I’ve made for you an ending for the Train border, I’ve added a caboose, which doesn’t come with the original artwork. There are still two train cars to go with this artwork, it was a really big bundle of art and I have every intention of finishing them. Perhaps next week if the movers don’t come… arggghhh I can’t believe I haven’t heard a word from them.

Both our patterns for each day are now on our Craftsy Stores, Janeen’s store is located here and mine is located here.

The present was meant to be added before now, but some how I forgot to add it, so I added it to today’s pdf with the Sledding Ginger

Artwork for the Sledding Ginger is by Kristi W at Graphic ‘n Bits
Artwork for Train 08 is by Country Clipart By Lisa
Artwork for the Caboose is by Country Clipart By Lisa and Marian Pena
Artwork for the Present is by Diddybag.

To download, click the image above, it will open straight to the pdf, click the download button. Do not try sharing it to google drive, upload it after you download it to google drive if that’s what your trying to accomplish.

Please remember do not use android, iphone, or ipad type devices to download. If you have a problem with the download, first, try changing the device your using to a laptop or a desktop.

Next, I have for you a special surprise, I had originally drawn this instead of the train, but decided it was to big or busy looking in the Village Border… So last night I wrote Janeen and she recommended I reduce the size. I’ve no idea why it didn’t occur to me before then, but I tried reducing it and it works much better, so if your interested, you should know what to do. The artwork for Ginger Santa and his Sleigh is from Primsy Doodles.

Thanks very much for all you do for us all, love all the patterns!!!

Marion, I want to thank you so much for this quilt-along. It has ben an interesting journey, and the blocks have been fantastic. You and Janeen have put so much work into this and I just love it to death. I wasn’t able to keep up, and I did miss a few blocks, and I’m so glad you now have them for sale so I can complete my set.
Thank you again,
Lisa in Alabama

Just got my internet and phone back on line since I lost it on Wednesday, one day I will buy the ones that I missed out on…many thanks for the effort and time that you and Janeen put into these projects for us…Merry Christmas from Australia, Chris

Thank you for such a wonderful collaboration quilt–it is the best. I would sew love the reindeer and sleigh but cannot find it anywhere. I went to the Primsy Doodle site and it said it there was no such item. Is this something you will have available also?

Sally M

The wonderful reindeer and sleigh are at her Craftsy shop!

Thank you, Marion for a beautiful Christmas gift of applique’. May you have the best Holyday ever! Am looking forward to seeing the other two cars to the train after Christmas as my Hubby is a retired railroad engineer! Thanks again.
