So, it’s time for a Cupcake, a wonderful lemony cupcake, pink or yellow, which is your preference?
I love lemonade, but I really love the pink lemonade…
Summer is a perfect time for lemonade, but since I’ve just learned how to make a great sweetened tea, I’ve been drinking lots of Iced Tea this summer. I’ll definitely need to break down soon and have me some lemonade tho…
This months cupcake is a free cupcake, the cupcake is on Payhip for you to download easily this month.
So, in my unofficial block of the month each month, this is the only release so far that I barely made the deadline on. So to the 15th of the month… at least I made it by the day it’s supposed to be released by. Anyway, this month’s cupcake represents the month of July with the patriotic celebration we are about to see next month on the 4th of July.
I’ve just found a Canadian leaf I can use in place of the star, I’ll get it drawn up this evening and add it to this pattern tomorrow on Craftsy for anyone who purchases this pattern.
Today’s release is Twas The Night Before Christmas Blocks 11 and 12 and I’m also releasing Cupcake Of The Month – May… Shocking I know that I could be so early on a block not really due before the 15th of May, but May is a very busy month for me, so I’m releasing it today to have it … out of the way I guess you could say. 🙂
Blocks 11 and 12 were actually uploaded Saturday night to Craftsy, but because I don’t like posting on weekends, I simply announced it in the Facebook groups for Seams To Be Sew and decided to post today about the release.
The Cupcake of the Month for May is a free block pattern. I’ve made it available on Continue reading
Well, I finally got these patterns done and uploaded. I apologize to those of you who got to see the preview last night on Facebook. I got the free patterns done and went to start on this post… Frank called me downstairs to do something and when I came back up, I totally forgot about writing the post and instead just went to bed. So here I am first thing this morning… writing the post 🙂
Let’s just get to the nitty and the gritty of it, the free patterns for this Sue and Sam release are, Sue In Texas, Sam In Rhode Island, and Sue In Nunavut. The cupcake of the month release for April is also in this post.
Let’s go get those free patterns
Its that time again of the month where I release the next cupcake. This months cupcake represents Easter for April. It’s a cute basket of eggs. I’m very happy with how this pattern turned out, I hope you to will like it.
I’ve also released 2 new pieced pattern sets, one with a Winter theme, the other with a St. Patrick’s Day theme.
This months cupcake 9-inch pattern is free.
I have released the next cupcake for you today.
I also have released a fun new quilt pattern for Mardi Gras, those lucky enough to get to go to Mardi Gras you may enjoy this quilt you can make as a fond remembrance of your trip. I’ve always wanted to go to Mardi Gras.
With Twas The Night, I was working on finishing up the pattern when I realized I was working on the wrong block… uggghhh!!! The pattern I showed you as a preview last month is actually release Block 11, so, I’m quickly working on block 10 to get it finished up so I can release block 11. My apologies for that, I would go ahead and release it, but I don’t want anyone to get confused with the block order so am going to hold on it till I release block 10.
In other news, I have a poll on this post, I really need your input on your preference for free downloads. I just don’t get why downloading a free pattern is so difficult for some and not a problem for others. I know my preference is to simply go back to Payhip, I had a lot fewer issues with it, but at the same time, I’m not understanding how the cart is giving people issues also.
I have finally settled on a plan for how I’ll do the Cupcake of the Month series.
