Day 8… The Road Home… It’s Goes Sew Sew Fast!!

Road Home Row along

stbs-Road Home tall bannerTime just passes us all by so fast and so quickly, sometimes I wonder how I just let a day slip away… It’s the same with any part of our lives, we do it daily where time just slips on by and before you can say goodbye, you barely have time to say Hi.. 🙂

This event has passed by quickly, it’s hard to believe that we are on day 8 of this event, with only 3 more days to go.

When this event is over, I’ll be packing my bags and heading back to the states. Yep, my husband has accepted a job back in the good ole USA and after 14 years living overseas, we are headed home. Gotta be back in the states by November 1, so October for me is a busy busy month. Amy Warner at Sew Incredibly Crazy has agreed to take over hosting Eerie Nights for me, so please don’t worry the blog hop is still on, I just won’t be here to host it. I’ll be visiting tho and having fun with all of you and I hope I have a moment to even post. No projects I have no time to sew, but maybe a free pattern.. 🙂 We’ll just have to wait and see…

So today, we are stopping over in Vermont, my second favorite place to be in the world… I love Vermont… Manitoulin Island, Canada, Silicon Valley, CA and Oregon.. all of these rows today are super fantastic and I can’t wait to hear and read your comments on what you think. Be sure you invite your friends to come and see us because as I said.. time… just passes us all by so fast and before you know it, those downloads will expire and the rows will start to disappear… into the beyond…. perhaps into retired pattern land… 🙂

If your planning to create one of the rows from our bloggers, there is just 2 weeks to finish so you can enter the FlickR giveaway.

On The Road To Hollywood….

Road Home Row along

Road Home Row alongWho doesn’t dream of going to Hollywood at least once in their lives. Whether you’re wanting to be an actor or actress.

I was not responsible for the artwork for this pattern or the decision to create the city, but I was asked to create the pattern for the row. This is why Batts In The Attic and I are doing a dual posting today.

I am down with the flu currently and when I have the flu it’s never a one day thing for me, in fact I’m lucky if it’s gone in two weeks.

The Road Home To Idaho

Idaho Falls Idaho 2009

Idaho Falls Idaho 2009There are many things I love about the state of Idaho. The scenery in Idaho is beautiful. Idaho is the potato state, but more than potatoes it’s also home to the Snake River, it is the home of many hot springs that you can lavish away the day in, Evil Kneival tried and failed to jump over the Snake Canyon in Twin Falls, back in 1974, is home to the two deepest canyons in the USA, it is also home to Craters Of The Moon, an amazing monument created out of actual molten lava, has more whitewater than any other state in the lower 48 states, is a very close drive to Yellowstone National Park, but the best thing about Idaho.. I was raised in Idaho Falls, and while I don’t really think I had the best childhood experiences, I consider it my home.

I’ve always been intrigued by waterfalls, for as long as I can remember. When I was trying to decide what to do for my row, it really just made sense to me to do the one place in the world that I love the most and that is Idaho Falls. The falls may be small, but they hold memories that last a lifetime.

So let’s get to the knitty and the gritty. my row today is 12 x 30. It consists of piecing and applique. Imagine that, I designed Continue reading
