Halloween is probably considered the funnest holiday of any holiday in the USA. It is the favorite of many people. My sister probably loves it more than I do, but as someone who never had children, it’s the one holiday I always decorate for. To this day I still wait at my door for the kids to arrive to offer a gift of candy. Because I live in military housing, I get to see lots of kids each year. If I didn’t live in military housing, I wouldn’t see any kids, because Italy doesn’t celebrate Halloween.

So, during the last two Halloween Blog Hops that I’ve participated in, I wait in anticipation to see what others have done. It always amazes me the creativity that others produce and I really love the excitement and genuine affection others show for the holiday. I’m honored that all of you have joined me for this Halloween Haunts Blog Hop, my first blog hop, with more to come.

This is a great time of year, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and then a new beginning with New Years and all of them happen within just 61 days. No other time of the year has so many holidays so close together.

I love it when we get to this time of the year and we are soon going to be at the start of it.

Happy Halloween

  1. I can’t get my comments to register, so I either have 0-2 entries so far at a couple of the sites not sure what to do?
