About Seams To Be Sew

My name is Marian Pena. I am a homemaker with a wonderful, and loving husband, but sadly, no children. I have however, six wonderful nieces and one nephew. You might ask, why the name Seams To Be Sew for a web developer, well that goes to my first love which is sewing. I've been a seamstress now for nearly 35 years and it's the one true thing in life I've never tired of doing. So when creating a domain name, of course, my mind simply went to my first love. For several years now, this site contained cross stitch designs for the machine embroiderer.

However, after several comments asking how could I develop websites for others when I didn't even have one to promote myself with, I finally decided to take a few moments and write one myself.

As I mentioned on my "experience" page, I started learning HTML around 1991, 1992 at Virtual University. Since that time I have created quite a few sites, but really fell in love with working on eCommerce sites five years ago.

I am a US citizen, currently living in Germany. My husband works for a company that contracts for the military, and we have enjoyed being able to live abroad now for the last five years.
