Heya Everyone, I mentioned last week that this week was my blog’s birthday… She was five years old this past Monday. I’ve been very busy trying to get Sue/Sam ready for release and really didn’t want to post until it was, but I’m realizing that I’m letting time slip by as I try to finish those patterns up. So I am writing today to offer a little free pattern I created for celebrating 5 years of being a blogger.
With another 5 years, I should be able to make it to 1000 posts…
for 10 years, doncha think? With this post, I am currently at 671 posts and pages combined. Its funny, it took me 3 years before I saw even 100 plus posts per year, even with running a block of the month, the first two years of blogging for me didn’t even net 50 posts for each year. Writing a blog has always been difficult for me as I have never been someone who can talk about my private or personal life and while I find it somewhat easier now to write, I still struggle with what or how to write each post. Even just “starting” like the first page of a book, I’m sure for an author would be difficult, you have to find some inspiration to write that post. However, since I’ve been around for so long now and I know there are bloggers who’ve been around longer than even I have, I did discover something quite by accide3nt which is kind of cool… I have my very own “google images” page… and didn’t even know it… HOW Cool Is That!! I bet all bloggers have one of these and just don’t realize it. Like, talk about a walk down memory lane… just viewing that page really does take me down memory lane…
You may have noticed some of the changes I’ve been doing to my blog over the last few months… Every few months is a new background or theme, and/or logo… I finally got tired of that crazy patch background and the header logo I’d used for many many years… So I’m playing around and just having some fun making my own. I hope you are enjoying them.
So here’s a little giftie for you from me… I hope you enjoy it…
