Now for some fun stuff..
Tomorrow is the start of Summer Sensations, you can view the schedule here.
Yesterday, I was visiting my favorite blogs around the web and I happened upon some cool things going on… When I was at my friend Susan’s site, she had some new announcements for blog hops, Quilt Alongs, and some other really cool things, she announced one of those was a blog hop called the 12 Days of Christmas In July. This blog hop is on its 7th day as of today and features 2 different blogs per day. Of course, I visited all the blogs that I had missed already, and what fun it was. So much wonderful inspiration and creativity going on and I can’t wait to see what else is to come. The great thing about this blog hop is that it’s also going on during Summer Sensations, so you get lots of great creativity going on all at the same time. I’m super excited about what’s to come and I hope you will be too.
Next, my friend Mel is starting two new Mystery BOTMs
One is called My Vintage Kitchen and it looks quite interesting.
The other is Fall Love QAL
Both are one day pattern only downloads and she does list the schedule of releases on her blog.
Another really awesome Quilt Along I found while was I was hopping with the 12 Days of Christmas In July Blog Hop I found a wonderful site that was offering a beautiful Quilt Along called Flower In A Pot at Adventurous Applique and Quilting. Suzy offered this Quilt Along during the months of January to July and all of the blocks are still available to download along with reading the instructions. She is an amazing machine quilter also who enjoys stitching feathers. She’s also got a great list of tutorials for you to peruse while visiting her. It was well worth the few hours I spent browsing her blog. I had never been to this blog before, so had she not participated in the 12 Days of Christmas In July Blog Hop, I’d have still never found her. This was a great find, I will be back to visit her blog often.
This is the schedule for the 12 Days of Christmas In July Blog Hop. I will be posting it daily during Summer Sensations also as I really don’t want you to miss a single day of it.
I have never been to many of these sites, or at least I don’t recognize some of the names, so I’m looking forward to each day to see if I find some new and cool friends.
I will see you tomorrow for the start of Summer Sensations.
Don’t forget to stop in for your free pattern and to visit the other blogs participating.
Enjoy your Wednesday
