Today Is Furry Friday with TQPM and Island Batiks and more News…

Furry Fridays

Furry FridaysLast month, you may remember my post about Island Batik’s February project for our little Furry Friends with the Kennel Quilts.

What I’d forgotten to note in that post was that the free pattern I gave away has both the Catfish and the Dog Bone in the same pattern on Craftsy.

But in the last week or so, the really nice surprise came in my email with the patterns I created getting created by Lisa P.

She is new to quilting, but she is dropping the kennel quilts she made at her local kennel. How cool is that.. wanna see them… have a look…

It’s September 1st and The EQ Seasons Row-Along Has Finally Arrived….

EQ Seasons RAL Button

EQ Seasons Row AlongWay back on April 1st, 2015, I had been thinking about how  much I missed participating in Blog Hops. I love them, they are so much fun and not just because your creating a project to show off, but because you get to see the ideas everyone else comes up with. I have loved every Blog Hop I participated in. Each one is unique in it’s very own way.

I had been admiring Deanna’s Quilter’s Garden at the time and thinking how much I’d love to do a Row Quilt. So I wrote to Electric Quilt and asked them what they thought of allowing me to organize a Quilt Along with tutorials for Electric Quilt in a row quilt. They were very enthusiastic and granted me permission offering to help in any way they possibly could.

Coming In July to Seams To Be Sew … My 2015 BoW

2015 BoW

Coming In July

2015 Block Of The Week O Holy Night

2015 BoW

Coming July 10th, each and every friday for 12 weeks, I will feature a small part of this wallhanging project.

I’ve always had a little infatuation with nativity scenes. I’ve collected a few of them be it made out of porcelain, wood, and even glass. As a quilter, I’ve wanted to create a nativity scene for years, so now, I’m bringing my creation to you.

I’ve named it O Holy Night because that is my favorite Christmas song of the season.

This nativity scene features the artwork of Angie Wenke.

It has been created in Electric Quilt 7 and Bernina Designer Plus v7

You will not need EQ to create your own, you will receive patterns in pdf format.

This will be limited, each part will be available free for one week only, then made available for sale until the end of the project.

I hope you will follow along and create it with me
