The Road Home Show and Tell Day…

Road Home Row alongIt’s the last day of this event, the one event I’ve looked forward to all year and now it’s finally done. It’s been six weeks since we started and it’s flown right by.. I so wish we were having another week or two, but.. all good things do have to end and we are walking right into Halloween soon with Eerie Nights coming in just 9 days. In 9 days, I could possibly already be in the USA even living in a hotel until we find our permanent home to move into… It’s just flying by… soon, I’ll be flying home…

I hope you’ve enjoyed the Road Home Row Along as much as I have. I’d like to ask you, I’m looking for ideas for next years row along theme. What do you think? Christmas? Halloween? Sewing? Animals? any thoughts? Please leave a comment.

I really have enjoyed looking at what everyone has created. Next year is hard for me to think about but who doesn’t love animals, birds and flowers no matter what is going on in the world. We bring flowers to people for every occasion to brighten their day.

This was a lot of fun to follow. Thank you. An animal theme sounds good, perhaps aquatic animals. Or even a seasonal theme like winter.

Thanks for another wonderful hop experience Marian! As far as the next row-a-long, I think a sewing theme would be really fun.

Thanks for all the rows! Animals is a cool idea…..here is an idea that may be too much??? It could be rows “and” add on appliques that come together to make a picture quilt. Like someone could do a vertical tree row, and others could do rows with the limbs and those who didn’t want to do the rows but may want to create the applique animals. And then there is the below the tree row(s), bushes, ground animals, etc. Oh, and crazier even yet, the animals could be decorating the tree for Christmas, holding ornaments, etc….with a row of Santa/reindeer flying above them. Too much coffee I know. Welcome back to the US!!! Wishing you well in your travels!

I love that idea, we should definitely try to do something like that.
