If you join the Facebook Group for Wooly Block, this is a Facebook group, like yahoo groups, but different since it’s in live time. This is an opportunity to thank the shops for block patterns you’ve downloaded. Please do not complain or whine. It’s ok to say something if you can’t get the download, but check to see if others have spoken up first, the problems usually occur and are fixed within 12 hours of the release of the new shops. So just keep checking.
This is also a great way to say Thank you to the shops, many of them are in the FB Group.
While some shops will show pictures of there blocks in the Facebook group, the best place to see pictures is from the shop’s website itself. If you can’t find them there, the next best place is at the Wooly Block Facebook Page.
Wooly Block kits are supposed to use Wool Felt or Felted Wool
You can read more about Wool Felt and Felted Wool in a post I wrote here earlier in 2017.
The post discusses many things, not only the differences between the wool but working with it, sources t find it and even making it felted on your own.
Wooly Block pattern are 8-inch blocks and I’ve never seen a pieced block ever, they are all applique.
Tips to Easily Help You
with pages you need to visit often
Don’t just bookmark the pages…
Put Often visited sites on your Bookmarks Bar or Pin them to a tab.
Drag from the address bar to your bookmark bar
In Google Chrome (and this is the same process in Firefox, Safari, and Opera)
Be default, Firefox shows the bookmark bar when you install it, but in Chrome it doesn’t.
I forget how Opera and Safari do it.
I am in no way affiliated with the Row By Row Experience. I’m just a fan of this event as I love the idea that we get to support our local shops. The logo has been approved for use on this blog by Janet Lutz founder of the Row By Row Experience.
