12 Days … Day 11

stbs-2018-CL Snowflakes Full-smallThe link to the tutorial has been fixed.

There was simply nothing I could do last Friday. Xfinity was here in the neighborhood all day, then part of Saturday and back again today. My connection is still spotty. Because I noted I would also do a tutorial, I’ve decided to split the posts up, so that the tutorial has it’s own page. It is linked inside the post. It is image intensive, so I would prefer to keep it separate for future visitors.

Today’s Free pattern is a Continuous Line Snowflake and the tutorial will show you how to create snowflakes out of fabric without a pattern, a different technique for snowflakes, but still fun and very very quick to create.

I love doing Continuous Line designs, they are fun and still give me the look I like to quilts. It’s fun to see the “object” come to life. I love feathers and such, but sometimes I like something like Christmas items, or Winter, Halloween, and snowflakes.

I’ve also uploaded a free forever pattern on Craftsy of today’s pattern, but it is NOT the same as today’s pattern is. They are both block 5 in the set, but at Craftsy, the free pattern only contains the 6-Inch size. Here today, you are receiving all six sizes.

Snowflakes B05

This is Block 5 in the set, you will receive sizes 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12-inch

The following designs come in the full set

Both sets are available at Craftsy and Payhip

will go to the regular price of $20.00

This set is from the Limited Edition artwork at Clipartopolis.

Thanks for the snowflake, Marian. The payhip link took me to the front page of payhip, so I just went to Craftsy and downloaded the six inch one only. It’s okay, because I’m not much of a FMQ person, but these are so pretty and amazing. I looked at the full set as up close as possible, and they are amazing.

Two things here. First, the link for “Creating Snowflakes Out of Fabric” doesn’t seems to work for me. Second, a dumb question from me: Can you do continuous FMQ by hand?

Thank you for another nice pattern.
