After what seems like months since the last release, blocks 17 and 18 are finally ready and are released. The rest of the blocks will be released over the next few months. I really want to finish this botm by Summer 2019.
Sunbonnet Sue and Sam should see releases next week.
I so get that it’s been a few months and I thank you all so much for waiting so patiently for the next blocks in the Twas The Night Series. It’s actually been 5 months since the last release and I really do apologize for taking my sweet time getting them out. There are 7 more blocks left in this series and I am hoping to have them all done by March 2019.
The Cupcake of the Month 2018 finishes also with this update, as I’ve uploaded November and December for you. The November block is Free for the next two weeks.
I’ve also released with this release the pumpkin basket pattern you’ve been waiting for since I posted last week with the Pick A Pumpkin Blog Hop and last a free Turkey Day pattern just for fun for ya’ll… So in all TWO free patterns today.
Stranger things have happened uploading patterns when I’ve added patterns at Craftsy before. Tonight I was uploading blocks 13 and 14 and when I finished I couldn’t find where block 13 was. It shows up as a pattern in my own account’s pattern page, but it isn’t showing up in the quilt store for my profile or on the quilting page. So I’m not sure what’s happening in that respect. You can add it to your cart, but you can’t check out even. So I’ve also added them to Payhip for you tonight so that if your in a hurry to get started you can go ahead and purchase them. Please remember Payhip does cost a little bit more for patterns because I have two commissions that get paid from Payhip, one to Paypal, and one to Payhip.
Here are the links for this months blocks…
Today’s release is Twas The Night Before Christmas Blocks 11 and 12 and I’m also releasing Cupcake Of The Month – May… Shocking I know that I could be so early on a block not really due before the 15th of May, but May is a very busy month for me, so I’m releasing it today to have it … out of the way I guess you could say. 🙂
Blocks 11 and 12 were actually uploaded Saturday night to Craftsy, but because I don’t like posting on weekends, I simply announced it in the Facebook groups for Seams To Be Sew and decided to post today about the release.
The Cupcake of the Month for May is a free block pattern. I’ve made it available on Continue reading
Its been a busy week for me, how about you? I spent last week trying to get this pattern written up, it really doesn’t seem like it would be that complicated, but I added some additional shape keys in each of the embroidery shapes so it might be easier to tell which shapes are the actual embroidery shapes for those of you who are doing hand embroidery. I liked this so much I will go back and do it to the other 9 patterns so far in this series as I do believe it makes it easier for you to know those shapes. These patterns have so many especially small shapes I think it really needs to be done.
There are some changes to the block of the month 2018 page also. Continue reading
Sorry, everyone, I was determined to get the TTNBC Block 09 pattern released the other day then got stuck at the car repair all day on Tuesday. I sat there waiting for my car to be fixed and ended up getting a rental car until the next day.
Either or, I worked on it all day yesterday to finish and finally got it done. In the meantime, I did upload the Continuous Line patterns to the bundles each day for those of you who purchased the bundle, if you haven’t downloaded them since you purchased you may want to go and do that. The last 2 patterns will be released tomorrow and Monday for the bundles, and Monday will be the last day for the free patterns on my blog along with my project for Island Batik.
So, let’s get down to the nitty and the gritty…
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
gave the lustre of midday to objects below, is block 08 of Twas The Night Before Christmas. Isn’t it a beautiful block?
Much like the first block in some ways but I love the night sky, the snow falling, and the additional trees that the artist added to the block. I do not think it was easy for him to come up with artwork for the lines in this part of the story.
This is the Flickr Reward block.
In other news…. Continue reading
