It is hard to believe that another year has passed by so darn quickly. It seems just like yesterday that I was writing the first post of this year which was a “Best of 5 Posts” also and participating in the linky party that Meadowmist Designs hosts each year. I met some wonderful quilters and bloggers thru doing that, so this year I definitely wanted to participate again.
2018 marks a big event for my blog, it will be my 5th year as a blogger and in my wildest dreams I never even once thought I’d still be around for 5 years let alone loving it so much. I love love love blogging, Continue reading
Today I share this cupcake with you, a gift for being one of my followers.
It’s my birthday today, and I’d like to thank you for visiting my website, taking time from your busy schedules to give me just a little bit of your own time.
Everyone one of you is important to me, some of you are good friends now, and over the years you’ve followed my blog, you’ve lived my life with me, you’ve watched me grow from a beginner pattern designer to what I am now. I really appreciate that you’ve taken the time to follow and be a part of my life these last 4 1/2 years.
I hope you’ll enjoy this day with me Continue reading
Hello Again Everyone… it takes me quite some time to draw the names and notify all the winners, but today I did manage to get started on it early in the day. So, here are the winners for last Thursday, September 07, 2017 and Calibre Art Winners for September 14, 2017.
Let me note, the Calibre Art giveaways are a 50% off coupon. At Amazon, some of these mats are already on sale at 50% off, and you do get the additional 50% off of the current sale price, so a mat that might cost 100.00 discounted by 50% off is around 50.00, plus your additional discount of 50% off makes that mat just $25.00.
Several of you have passed on the mats, and that’s fine, Continue reading
Hi Everyone!! It’s so hard to believe, just a few days away is Christmas and I have just finished up these patterns for you.
I have added a left corner border with a Gingerbread Train Station, Train Cars 09 and 10, and a option bottom right corner with a Gingerbread House and Tunnel instead. I hope you like them. These are available currently only in my Craftsy Store.
And here we are on Day 07 of 12 Days of Christmas, now half way thru this really fun event. Janeen’s village has been such a fun and wonderful way to build a cool Christmas village along with the added shapes and the train, I am certainly enjoying reading your comments and having fun just seeing your reactions.
I keep hearing your planning to make it, I sure hope you will share your photos once you do, I am happy to post them or see them on Facebook in the groups, or even if you post them to the Flickr feed for Seams To Be Sew.
Even Pinterest, if you post them to PInterest or your blog, please drop me a line, I really am interested in seeing your projects.
We all look forward to our birthdays until we get a certain age, and then boom, we just wish it would not happen, or perhaps it’s that reminder that we are just getting b+older 🙂 …
My dad when he turned 40, started counting backwards at each of his birthdays.. He wasn’t what I’d call a vain man either, but for some reason if you asked him his age, he’d always tell you what his age was by subtracting his age from the number 40.. He didn’t make it to be 80 years old so that he could say he was 0, but it just reminds me how young we all really are and at 56 this year, I really don’t feel like I am 56.
Today, I’ll just reflect and remember that my life has been good, I’m lucky to be married to a wonderful man who has put up with me for 32 years now and that’s even longer than my own parents were married for. I have my family and Franks family, and I’ve made some amazing friends here just by blogging. What else could I ask for? Not much… but today I have a few things for you…
Last year at this time, I had a giveaway offered by DJ Inkers for ya’ll, they gave away an amazing cd of their artwork and this year they are doing it again with their Holidays Around The World CD.. It’s an oldie, but a goodie..
I can’t believe I have to do this, but I have to delay the release of Sue in Egypt and India for a week. I just haven’t had the time to work on the pattern. I did get it stitched out, and the testing went well, I just don’t have the time it takes to write the pattern up. I won’t have the time either, with the movers due here Thursday, it’s just going to be too busy of a week. I will shoot for next Monday the 24th as the release date. We’ll be staying in a hotel by then and I should have the time to finish the pattern.
