Yep, it’s getting close, two more weeks and we will be done.. Can you believe it.. I know, some of you may have lost a bit of faith in me after Little Treasures took longer than it should have but I really have tried to commit to a schedule I could keep with Oh Holy Night.
I also know I’m a day late, but better a day than 3.. I do apologize, I’ve just had one of those days where nothing has gone the way I thought it would, I’d intended to have this out early in the afternoon and then one thing just led to another.
This is pretty easy today…
Coming next week to the USA is the Fourth of July, one of my favorite holidays of the year. One of the biggest things I love about the day is spending it with family, the fireworks, and watching the Boston Pops play the Stars and Stripes one of the songs my mom passed on to me, she loved marching band music and especially liked John Phillip Sousa. One year ago today, I participated in the Super Powers Blog Hop.. it has amazed me ever since that a block I added to Craftsy has remained in the top 10 downloads for the Embroidery section of the site. It hasn’t always been in the top 10, but at least once a month or so I will see it in the top 10 downloads.
I was adding Little Treasures for October and November last night and noticed that it was at the top of the downloads list.. To say I was surprised was an understatment.
This is the second block I have designed in Electric Quilt.
Thanks go to Bea for letting me join this Blog Hop, The tutorial at DoYouEQ called Tracing In PatchDraw, Electric Quilt who creates this software for us to play in. The Graphics Shoppe who’s images I used to create my blocks for this blog hop.
Today I have created for you a Bee block which I have named Bea’s Bee. If you’d like to learn how to create the block yourself, you can watch the video below, otherwise, feel free to just download the pattern and enjoy. You will find the pattern near the bottom of this post.
