I am so so sorry… my internet has been down long before I even got up this morning to write the post and get the patterns uploaded. I have no idea what time it went down, but the cable guy was outside of the neighbor’s house all day I gather trying to get it fixed. I finally have internet again, so I am getting these up very quickly now.
Today’s pattern is a lovely hot cup of cocoa with a cinnamon stick. Who doesn’t love hot cocoa in the wintertime let alone at Christmas?
Please note, because of this being late, this pattern will be available through 8:30 pm mst December 5, 2019. Let’s get straight to it… Day 04 will still go up on time if I have internet tomorrow morning. Continue reading
Today is the start of Nifty Novelties bloghop. I could say so much about novelty fabrics. So, I’ll say something right now and save the rest for tomorrow on my featured day. Next to blenders, novelty prints are my absolute favorite fabrics to use in quilts. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE them.
We have ten wonderful bloggers who are going to show you new and some old projects they’ve created with novelty prints, and Timeless Treasures sent me 15 absolutely wonderful bundles of fabrics all novelty prints to offer as giveaways for prizes.
This is a short bloghop but will be full of fun and creative ideas will abound. Just in time for you to perhaps make a Christmas project.
The following is the schedule for Nifty Novelties, inside the post are giveaways to enter.

WoW, can’t believe I came to finish this post this morning and everything I’d written was gone, just disappeared into the nothingness…. so… I’ve had to re-write everything..
We had quite a few issues this morning on the other blogs participating today, please see my other post for those issues that have been fixed.
Now, for the reason I am posting today…. Back when I started going about changes I wanted to make for the row along this year, I had decided to make the size change. I love how it has worked out and am very happy with all of the rows we’ve seen thus far and the rest to come. I had created some layouts and posted them to the designers group for them to mull over. After the theme was chosen, Paula at Mountain Meadow Designs wrote me and asked if she could do some filler rows in addition to her normal row. I said sure… As she was telling me her ideas, I got to thinking that one of her ideas would be wonderful also done in machine embroidery designs. I asked Paula if she minded if I did some of these for those of you with embroidery machine and she was fine with it. Thus, the reason you’ve come to my post today.
Today, my post is all about machine embroidery. If you don’t have an embroidery machine, you won’t find much value in my post and there is no download for you unless you own a sewing machine with an embroidery arm or an embroidery only machine.
I have created embroidery designs Continue reading
Today is the third day in the row along. I hope you are having fun following us along to each designers blog and seeing what goodies she has in store for you each day.
Even tho I have seen the rows each designer has done, I saw them back in June in there drafts. I haven’t seen the finished patterns since that time, so each day for me is also as new for you as it is for me. I love seeing how the fabrics worked out in there row pattern and reading about how they chose the design they did.

Today is the last day of 12 Days of Snow… it’s been a bit of adventure with my internet connection being the way it has been, but in all, I have enjoyed this event this year far more than I have in past years. I wish to thank all of you who have visited my blog over the last 19 days and throughout the year. The reason I do this event is that it gives me a way to thank you for visiting me all year long. I like to give back and while this year has had a lot of ups and downs with my health during the summer, the internet woes with this event, the events I hold on my blog are always a way for me to connect with all of you. I truly appreciate that you visit my blog, and get to know me, as I try to get to know all of you thru your comments and such. When you visit quietly it doesn’t give me a chance to get to know you, but your comments even when it’s a simple thank you allow me to know you just even by your name, and I am someone who recognizes names over and over again. Thank you all for your patience during this event. I know you visited to find the next days post and were disappointed when it wasn’t here, but I will always get them posted even if I am very very late.
When I started this event I told you there were three animals, today is the last animal. I toyed with this pattern because I had so many ideas for 12 Days of Snow and it was really hard to choose which patterns to feature for this event, in the end, I went with the one I liked the best and will release the others down the road. I hope you will like Mama and Baby Polar Bears.
The link to the tutorial has been fixed.
There was simply nothing I could do last Friday. Xfinity was here in the neighborhood all day, then part of Saturday and back again today. My connection is still spotty. Because I noted I would also do a tutorial, I’ve decided to split the posts up, so that the tutorial has it’s own page. It is linked inside the post. It is image intensive, so I would prefer to keep it separate for future visitors.
Today’s Free pattern is a Continuous Line Snowflake and the tutorial will show you how to create snowflakes out of fabric without a pattern, a different technique for snowflakes, but still fun and very very quick to create.
I love doing Continuous Line designs, they are fun and still give me the look I like to quilts. It’s fun to see the “object” come to life. I love feathers and such, but sometimes I like something like Christmas items, or Winter, Halloween, and snowflakes.
NOTE: My internet has been down since Thursday night. As you might have noticed I didn’t get Friday. I will post it Monday, December 17, 2018 with the last pattern on Tuesday.
Today is the last of the snowmen… Tomorrow I will be doing a snowflake, but I will also be featuring a fun tutorial for creating your own.
Today’s snowman is very simple, but oh so cute. It is simply the face of a snowman. So it’s quite like I said.. simple.
I’m also introducing another pattern, it’s become somewhat of a tradition for me to do for the last three years.
Let’s get inside the post and see what’s happening today.
