Hard to believe we are now on day 04 of 12 Days. It always just goes by so quickly when I hold this event each year and it just seems to get more and more frantic. I know I am a bit late posting today, but I slept until just after noon today with having to get all the stuff done I normally do in a day on the internet done last night, so having to get everything ready to get this posted took me a few hours.
Today’s post is all about those memories I have of getting under the tree and trying to remove the tape on the packages or digging thru closets, basement crannies and other fun things only to find out years later my parent hid the real presents at my grandparent’s house and picked them up on Christmas eve.
So here’s to all those little rascals having fun trying to sneak a peek… 🙂 Continue reading
I am so so sorry… my internet has been down long before I even got up this morning to write the post and get the patterns uploaded. I have no idea what time it went down, but the cable guy was outside of the neighbor’s house all day I gather trying to get it fixed. I finally have internet again, so I am getting these up very quickly now.
Today’s pattern is a lovely hot cup of cocoa with a cinnamon stick. Who doesn’t love hot cocoa in the wintertime let alone at Christmas?
Please note, because of this being late, this pattern will be available through 8:30 pm mst December 5, 2019. Let’s get straight to it… Day 04 will still go up on time if I have internet tomorrow morning. Continue reading
Hi Everyone, I’m so happy you liked the Unicorn pattern yesterday. I liked the whole series and it was really difficult to decide which of the patterns to offer as a free pattern, but I went with the Unicorn because I’ve never created a unicorn pattern before and thought you might like the change, thus the reason. prior to that, it was going to be the doggy, but at the last moment, I went with the unicorn.
To those of you who took the time to comment, THANK YOU!!! Hearing your thoughts and such is so nice. Please know that I answer questions and such that are commented on via email because I want you to see a response quickly. If you asked a question, please look for my yahoo.com email with the same title as the post in it. Check your spam folders also. I answer as quickly as possible. I answered several questions yesterday but received no reply on whether the issue was resolved.
Today’s pattern is the snowman pattern I mentioned yesterday. I hope you enjoy this cute pattern.
This is the event that I look forward to each year all year long. Yes, I love the row along, but 12 Days is an event that I do by myself on my own blog each year. No one else is involved. Like the Row Along this year, this is my 5th year of doing this 12 Days event. Each year it always starts on a different date, but I try to get it started near the first of December. It just happens that the first was on a Sunday this year and I do not like to post on weekends as most of you already know. I only do it when I feel it’s necessary, but rarely ever on a Sunday.
Many of you have been with me these last 5 years so you already know how this event works. However, if your new to my blog and this event, while I try to keep rules and guidelines to a minimum, there, unfortunately, has to be some. Please see the bottom of this post for those guidelines. The biggest one is All Downloads expire within 24 hours or the next post-release each day.
While I’m later than I wanted to be this morning, I needed to fix some issues on my blog. I’ve been trying to find a problem that I’m having with images currently with uploading them. This has been very annoying of late and I realized I really needed to fix it before I started this event today. So I spent the better part of the night trying to figure out which plugin was causing my issues. It is better right now, but the problem is not totally resolved, unfortunately.
Patterns this year include some pieced blocks, some continuous line blocks, mostly applique, and of course my traditional nativity, and snowman block.
Now, to the first free pattern of this event. This is part of a set of patterns, cute little toppers that give you a face, but the background of the face is the same as the background you choose for your block. It’s quite fun to play with the colors for this and you can net some amazing results from them. Continue reading
I was hoping to get this posted yesterday, but I forgot that it was my day at the doctor’s. Sometimes it’s just in and out and other times it’s half the day. Yesterday was one of those half the day kind of things. I’d had an infection in both my feet for the last few weeks, so she couldn’t do her normal thing four weeks ago when I was last in, Two weeks ago it was canceled due to a snowstorm in the area. My doctor drives in from Denver to treat people on Wednesdays each week. So I am sorry it didn’t get posted yesterday, but here I am today with Florida being released.
Sam is the free pattern for Florida.
Let’s get to the download…
You know, I’m not a fan of posting on weekends, but because I want to get the TTNBC blocks out to you, I’m posting today. So it’s that time again for the next block release… I forgot how long these take me to finish once they come back from the tester, but I am still determined to finish them by the end of the year and hopefully before that. Don’t be surprised if I release a set during 12 Days as I want to finish them.
Block 19 and Block 20 were uploaded this weekend to my Payhip shop. There is a coupon code for Block 19 for you to get the discount I normally give on the first of the two blocks.
I also have in this post the winners for Nifty Novelties. I totally forgot about getting these drawn, so I have also got this done and fully expect to mail by next Wednesday, November 13, 2019.
All Flickr rewards for Sunbonnet Sue are also caught up at the moment. You still have time to turn in Sue In Indiana to get Sam in Indiana free. November 17, 2019, is that deadline date. I expect to release Florida on Wednesday this week. I’ll be out of town on Monday and Tuesday, so I can’t release before that time.
Click the images to visit those pages on Payhip.
To Purchase Block 19 at the 25% discount, use coupon code: TTNBCB1925off
Be sure you “type or paste” it exactly as it’s shown.
