Electric Quilt How To – Working With Thread In EQ

stbs-2016-Thread Lesson

Today I am showing you how to work with the threads in Electric Quilt.

It’s Electric Quilts 25th Annivesary this year, and as a special tribute, In conjunction with QuiltShop Gal, I am posting a lesson on the 10th of each month.

I hope you will enjoy this lesson  on what I believe is an underused part of the software.

You don’t have to just color your stencils with threads, you can color outlines in your blocks also. Thread is probably most often used in EQ Stitch since it’s pretty much the only way to color your shapes to know what color to put on your machine for the embroidery to stitch out.

Project Lesson Download – This is a EQ pj7 file. I’m sorry, you won’t be able to use it if your version of EQ is lower than EQ7. It is also of no value if you don’t have Electric Quilt.

The following is also a little mini lesson in which I covered some parts of the image lesson below this video.

If you remember my lessons last month on Working with Fabrics In Electric Quilt, this will also be fairly easy.
