Four Seasons Blog Hop and Other News…

Four Seasons Blog Hop - Island BatikHi Everyone, I’ve been working to get Sue and Sam patterns out and I’m hopeful they will be out tomorrow for you. In the meantime, why not take a trip on over to some other blogs and visit the Four Seasons Blog Hop. These are all 2017 Island Batik Ambassadors, showing off projects they have made with a season in mind using Island Batik Fabrics, my project will be out on January 29th this month and I’m hoping you’ll stop in to see it also.

Each week of the hop, a different season of the year will be featured. Mine is Fall, and I’ve designed a fun project I think you’ll love, in the meantime, I’ve posted a schedule below of each day of this blog hop and from some of the projects I’ve seen, you won’t want to miss seeing them. This is the last project for 2017 Island Batik Ambassadors, many of these ladies will be continuing on in 2018 as IB Ambassadors, for me, I totally flopped at it, with only finishing one actual project last year I just couldn’t keep up with being a good ambassador.

Sew Can She
and Nancy’s Notions

Please note, the Sew Can She blog has a ton of ads on her blog including every single picture. I added an adblocker extension to both Firefox and Chrome so that it would block the ads and it does the job nicely, so if you to wish to avoid the ads, add the adblocker extension.

A big THANK YOU to Delores, who let me know about Next Step Quilts and Sew Can She‘s botms.

Have A Great Day

We do what we can! I don’t have any reason not to be good at something like that, yet I’d still have trouble keeping up. Looking forward to your day on the hop. Thanks for the mention of the blocking ads extension. I didn’t know there was such an animal. I avoid a lot of blogs, now, because of the increased ads. I’ll check it out! Next, I’m going to visit your Around the Web Page. What a great idea! Thanks for that! Enjoy your day!

Just remember ad blockers can make loading a page a little more time consuming as they are removing the ads and with pages with a lot of ads it will take more time. It also doesn’t always remove video ads (I dislike them the most because I don’t like autoplay) This is why I disable/enable in my extensions page prior and after going to those sites.

You DID have a little international move and some health problems this year! I think it’s understandable that you couldn’t fit in one more thing. Thanks for all you do and thanks for the list of blogs.

Thank you for the give away.
