Its been a busy week for me, how about you? I spent last week trying to get this pattern written up, it really doesn’t seem like it would be that complicated, but I added some additional shape keys in each of the embroidery shapes so it might be easier to tell which shapes are the actual embroidery shapes for those of you who are doing hand embroidery. I liked this so much I will go back and do it to the other 9 patterns so far in this series as I do believe it makes it easier for you to know those shapes. These patterns have so many especially small shapes I think it really needs to be done.
There are some changes to the block of the month 2018 page also.
You will find Block 10 by clicking on the image above at Craftsy.

On the Block Of The Month Around The Web Page News
I have added twenty-five new botms, QALS and removed one since it doesn’t seem to be happening. I’ve looked at there blog for the last two months and have found nothing that reflects the botm they had announced at the first of the year, so I have removed it until I see it has started.
I had them all listed and linked here, but when I hit the draft to check my links, all that work disappeared… So annoying, must have timed out while I was writing the post and just didn’t save, not even in my revision list. I do not have the time to relist all the links on this post, but they are listed on my block of the month 2018 page.
A HUGE THANK YOU to all of you who wrote me with these links to these BOTMS and QALs. I would never have found all of these on my own and I am truly grateful that you took the time to contact me so I could also let all of my followers know about these wonderful events.
I dislike that Sunbonnet Sue / Sam are not being released also today, I really wanted to release these all together, but I just don’t have them done yet and I have been needing to release Block 10 of TTNBC since I said I’d do it on Monday. It was released to Flickr rewards people last Saturday via email so they’ve had the pattern since that time.
I expect some time tomorrow, the Sue and Sams will be released as they are actually almost finished. I will release Iowa, New York, and New Brunswick at the same time.
Coming in Late March
Coming next week two machine embroidery tutorials showing you how to edit designs created in larger hoops for smaller hoops.
and starting March 5th is Small, Smaller, Smallest, a blog hop hosted by my friend Carol at Just Let Me Quilt. I have finished my project and it turned out far cuter than even I expected it to, so you’ll want to be sure you visit the blogs each day as I’m sure they all have made wonderful projects. Who knew small could be so much fun, it turns out I really like small… Cya tomorrow (even if I have to post Sue/Sam on Saturday they will be released by the end of this week)
I am an affiliate of the above companies when you click one of these links and purchase something, I earn a little bit of a commission with it. I use this money to help maintain my website and offer my free patterns to you. Every little bit helps, thank you so much for clicking and for your support. I don’t just offer up these brands to you I actually use their products and shop at these places. I would never partner with someone whose products I didn’t use.
Please remember it takes 2 minutes to comment, please say Thank You, whether you downloaded a free pattern, read a tutorial, or just learned something new. It takes time for people to write a post, take pictures, make a project or even write a pattern.
Let them know you appreciate it.
