Sew many of you encouraged me to finish this wallhanging that I thought I would go ahead and do so. Let me first say, it’s not quilted, at the moment, I don’t have the ability to do that as I have no room whatsoever to baste in my home, but it’s ready to be basted, so it’s finished to that point. 🙂
I’d also like to say thank you for all the comments and encouragement you offered last week. It was a huge help and to Soma, and Madam Samm, a huge thank you for offering this very fun block pattern and blog hop.
With that said, here are some of the images of the ready to be basted wallhanging.
This is a side view of the wallhanging.
This is a frontal view. I do believe this is the first time you have all seen our couch.. Usually all my pictures are taken off of the silhouette cameo and the table I normally work on. This doesn’t fit to take a picture, sew I used our couch!! 🙂
Any how.. I had mentioned doing a tic tac toe like look, and I don’t know where my head was at the time, but that was never the plan, so I just had to be out of my mind that night when writing that post.
I kinda wish now I had done that top row in the middle with another O, but I don’t have enough of the pink even left over to do the O, so I just let it be.
I still think it’s a cute wallhanging and it’s helping me to improve my applique skills. I did have fun with the paper piecing and think I will probably do a bit more of it in the future.
Thank you for dropping by,
