It’s Summer and I have a new Sensation.. :)

Summer SensationsI still have that Beach Boys song in my head from when I was writing my first post last Thursday for this blog hop.. Git Around, Git Around, I Get Around… I’m still waking up, so I’m going to keep my post pretty brief today.

I’d like to take a moment and thank all the wonderful bloggers who came along for the ride these last four days. Thank you so much in having a Summer Sensation with me.

As usual, I kept my project small, I didn’t really want to get swamped in anything to daunting for this hop, after all, this summer for me has been flying by so fast, and I have done more sewing this summer than I have in the last four years since I got back into quilting, so I kept it small and in the end, had to remake it anyway.

My project for you today features the 4 patterns I gave away over the course of this blog hop.

Where you see the pocket on this other side, is where the Lemonade pitcher and glass were on my original bag. When I had to remake it, I moved the pocket from what was inside to the outside of the bag. I quite like this.

I have an extra giveaway for you today, my original project had this pattern stitched into it, but time wasn’t on my side and I didn’t get it into the remade project.

I will giveaway 5 of these patterns

Just tell me your favorite Summer Sensation in the rafflecopter window

  1. This has been great! I’m thinking I need to win a pattern because my favorite summer sensation is fresh squeezed lemonade! LOL Thanks for a great hop and a super giveaway, too.

  2. Nothing is better than a bite or two of cold melon on a hot summer day! Marian, you are my favorite Summer Sensation (although you are actually a Sensation all through the year!)

  3. So much inspiration! Singing along remembering my own favorite summer songs, and remembering the ice cream guy that drove up and down the neighborhood and those delicious fudgesicles.

  4. My favorite summer sensation is a creamsicle or fudgesicle. You are sensational for all that you do Marian. Thanks for the hop!

  5. What an adorable bag. Perfect for all our Summer Sensations! Thanks for all the fun appliques you gave us throughout the hop.

  6. Thanks for hosting such a fun hop. Loved seeing what “summer” inspirations everyone had. Your appliqué is always the best.

  7. What a great summer bag! The lemonade looks good enough to drink. Thank you so much for sharing and for this sensational summer hop … 🙂 Pat

  8. I believe the “I Get Around” song in my day was by the Beach Boys. LOL Tho as a very young teen in the 60’s, I loved the Beatles best. (g) Thanks for the memories.

  9. My favorite summer sensation is the popsicle. I’m going to make a Fudgsicle, which I loved as a kid. Oh, and a Creamsicle too!

  10. Thanks for this little summertime hop, Marian. This is the first time I have done a blog hop. It was a lot of fun with some terrific and creative ideas!
Can’t wait for the next one!!

    1. What do you mean, their is no download on this post today, the download is on the main post for the blog hop.
