stbs-I wear What I SewLookie Lookie, two new Block Of The Months for my ever growing pattern collection. Just doing my usual jaunts across the web today and I came across this one while at my friend Susan’s site Quilt Block Of The Month. She was letting everyone know that Mel at Cloth Paper and Scissors is doing a brand new very limited Block Of The Month.. You’ll want to catch this one.. It’s absolutely GORGEOUS!!

Clothandpaper StudioThis will be released the 4th Monday of every month, and available free for one week only.  So right now, it’s free thru sunday April 3.

Mel is also doing an Embroidery Block of this same design on the 3rd monday of every month with the same rules, the pattern is free for one week only, then you’ll pay a small fee.

Next up, I found this one while visiting Jacquelyn today..

MaggiesFirstDanceBOMButtonRectJacquelynne Steves is doing another beautiful Block Of The Month.

Happy Birthday Carol!!
Yep, Carol is plagued with having a birthday on April Fool’s Day.
Who is Carol to me you might ask?
She is my mom-in-law a really great woman whom I adore.
I don’t think she knows I have a blog, I’ve never told her, but, I am with her in spirit today.
She doesn’t sew or quilt, and doesn’t even do the internet, so she wouldn’t even know what a blog is. 🙂

April is also the 3rd anniversary of my blog opening.
I’ll be doing special things all this month just for you..
You’ll want to visit often, I can’t wait to see you.

and lastly, as my April Fool’s Day Gift to you

My newest pattern, she is free today only in a 9×13 pattern size.

Thank you Marian. Won’t she be cute with the sewing patterns you gave us last week? I was thinking about using her for the center and putting the others around her. This would make a great wall hanging for the sewing room.
