If you’ve been following me for any length of time, you might visit on a semi-regular basis. A huge Thank You for that. I appreciate all of you.
As you know we are about three weeks now before the row along starts and lots of things are happening behind the scenes here at Seams To Be Sew. Over the last few days, I have mainly been working on my blog to bring you a special treat come the start of the row along. After all, it’s 5 years of row alongs in the making and quite frankly I thought it might be fun to do something a little special for it.
I’ll be posting soon also about the great giveaways our sponsors for Once Upon A Story are giving away during the 5 year Row Along celebration, there are some wonderful prizes coming your way. I know many of you are looking forward to the row along this year.
I will also be posting all the designers who are participating this year in the coming weeks.
When I was working yesterday, I decided to run my broken link checker plugin. I hadn’t done it in awhile and I wanted to fix any broken links that may have come along since the last time I ran it. For me, when I visit a site, I get annoyed when a link is broken or leads to a 404 type page. I try very hard to make sure the links I have on my blog are not broken and they number now in the thousands mainly because of all my Craftsy patterns that are linked on various pages of my blog for my patterns. I am in fact still fixing all the broken Craftsy links and there are to many to even know how many there actually were. Because of my broken link checker tho, I did find a new Block of the Month that has started this month and there is time to still download the pattern. I’ve added it to my Around The Web BOTM page also. I also removed one because of the site is no longer online at the moment and I’m not sure if the botm on it had finished or not. I was not following that botm.
Also, Angie Padilla has started her annual Christmas BOTM where she shares a block per month until the last block is added in November. You can still download the 1st block until August 22, 2019 when she will add the new block and the 1st one will only be available to her members.
Both of these were also added to my Around The Web BOTM page.
Next, I mentioned last month that I was considering a sale on my patterns. I normally do this in November, but thought I’d try August this year to give you a better chance at perhaps creating something for your coming Christmas gifts. I hope you will share pictures.
From today until August 30, 2019, all patterns are 25% off
when you use the following coupon to purchase with.
This is valid at my Payhip shop. I do believe most of my patterns are on this shop, but if you know of some that aren’t, let me know I’ll get them added so you can enjoy the savings on them also. If I add any new patterns during this period and I am hoping to release botm blocks next week along with CCOTM patterns they will will enjoy this savings.
If you’d like to participate in Nifty Novelties there is still time to sign up. Just click the image to go to the signup page. The other images will take you to the blogs where the hops are being hosted.
I look forward to each of these and hope you enjoy them also.
Here’s hoping you have an amazing day!!
I am an affiliate of the above companies when you click one of these links and purchase something, I earn a little bit of a commission with it. I use this money to help maintain my website and offer my free patterns to you. Every little bit helps, thank you so much for clicking and for your support. I don’t just offer up these brands to you I actually use their products and shop at these places. I would never partner with someone whose products I didn’t use.
Please remember it takes 2 minutes to comment, please say Thank You, whether you downloaded a free pattern, read a tutorial, or just learned something new. It takes time for people to write a post, take pictures, make a project or even write a pattern.
Let them know you appreciate it.
If your comment doesn’t show up after you post it, it’s most likely gone to the spam folder. I will see it and approve it, unfortunately, it just means something about your email address caught my spam filter’s eye.
