On The Road To Hollywood….

Road Home Row alongWho doesn’t dream of going to Hollywood at least once in their lives. Whether you’re wanting to be an actor or actress.

I was not responsible for the artwork for this pattern or the decision to create the city, but I was asked to create the pattern for the row. This is why Batts In The Attic and I are doing a dual posting today.

I am down with the flu currently and when I have the flu it’s never a one day thing for me, in fact I’m lucky if it’s gone in two weeks.

stbs-2016-Hollywood-mediumThis is how it looks in Electric Quilt.

stbs-2016-my stitchoutThis is a stitchout of the row

and just for fun…

On Wednesday or Friday depending on how I feel, I will post a tutorial for helpful tips to cut this row and Patti’s row from last week. Whether you cut it by hand or use a machine, there are some things you can do to make it easier for you.

My pattern for the download today offers svg cutting files and machine embroidery files to go with it.

What are svg files? I get stbs files are machine embroidery files which I know I can’t use. When I click on one of the svg files it opens with a drawing but at 100% it wants to split across two pages. Is this the way it was desgined?

    • AvatarMarian says:

stbs = seams to be sew 🙂

if you don’t have an embroidery machine those files won’t be any good to you.

svg files are for cutting machines, they just make cutting the fabric easier, but you don’t need them to create the pattern.

The pdf includes the whole pattern.
