Once Upon A Story Show And Tell Day ….

Once Upon A Story Row AlongIt’s that day of the row along when we showcase the projects made from some of the rows. This is the last day of the row along and it’s always a difficult day for me to write the last post.

First, and foremost a HUGE thank you to the designers, I can’t do this without your participation and it’s your creative spirit and your willingness to give away a free pattern that always makes this event a success.

To the sponsors, you are just as important, Thank you so much!!! We use your products and your willingness to giveaway products also brings quilters to our sites.

To you our visitors, we do this for you, hopefully you find a blog or two you like, perhaps more, perhaps you even find some blogs to follow. IMHO, one of the best things about quilting on the web today is the men and woman who decide to open a blog and talk about there quilting adventures. Perhaps offer some knowledge or how to’s on performing certain techniques.

I am an affiliate of the above companies when you click one of these links and purchase something, I earn a little bit of a commission with it. I use this money to help maintain my website and offer my free patterns to you. Every little bit helps, thank you so much for clicking and for your support. I don’t just offer up these brands to you I actually use their products and shop at these places. I would never partner with someone whose products I didn’t use.

Please remember it takes 2 minutes to comment, please say Thank You, whether you downloaded a free pattern, read a tutorial, or just learned something new. It takes time for people to write a post, take pictures, make a project or even write a pattern.
Let them know you appreciate it.

I am in no way affiliated with the Row By Row Experience. I’m just a fan of this event as I love the idea that we get to support our local shops. The logo has been approved for use on this blog by Janet Lutz founder of the Row By Row Experience.

  1. Thank you for all your hard work, planning and organizing and keeping it all going, and still creating interesting row designs.

  2. I am loving seeing the quilts! I just found you ladies for the first time, and am getting a kick out of seeing them all.

  3. Once again a perfectly run hop. At least to all your loyal followers it seemed smooth running. I’m sure there was a lot going on behind the scenes especially with you just moving and frequent leg treatments. We can’t call it row-a-long anymore. This was not only fun but educational as well as to the original stories. I’m keeping a copy of the background of each story with the patterns for whomever gets my stash in the end. Thanks again. I will let you know when the thread arrives.

  4. This has been great. It has helped me teach some of the grandkids about nursery rhymes and vocal rhythms and just fun use of words and having such cute hand-sewn examples was great. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

  5. I glanced through your 2nd article for the day – the different layouts using EQ8. I have EQ7 but not on my computer at the moment. When I had it on and tried to use it, I had a terrible time trying to learn it. It was like it was written in Greek and I only speak English… I keep telling myself I’ll never get any younger and I need to put it back on my computer and just learn it. I’m a wimp….scared to do it….fear of failure. But I need to!!! One of these days… Thanks again for all you did for the row-along. You certainly went above and beyond!! Blessings!!!

  6. A wonderful rowalong. Thank you to all the designers and to you Marion for hosting it. What a huge project to take on .I loved all the blocks and the stories behind the rhymes.

  7. Thank you for all your hard work in organizing this, Marian, and thank you to all the participants. I enjoyed each and every post and all the fun patterns.

  8. It has been a wonderful RAL, and a lot of that is down to your coordination of everything. Thank you so much, and thank you to all the other designers. Such a talented group – it has been a great pleasure!

  9. I’ve been following you for awhile now and I absolutely love your row x rows … Never disappointed! This was great since I am very much a kid at heart. (Aren’t we all? Really?) Thank you for all you do for the quilting world!!

  10. Wow! Another wonderful year. Thank you for all the designers who shared their talents with us. It was amazing to see their interpretation of the nursery rhythm that they picked out. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for next year.
