Pumpkin Pumpkin, Who’s Got The Pumpkin…

Pumpkin Pumpkin, Who’s Got The Pumpkin…Today is my day on this very fun blog hop which Carla from Creatin In The Sticks has hosted. It’s been full of fun and creative ideas and I have been awed and inspired these last few days with all the great projects that have been shown from the other bloggers. Thus the reason I love blog hops, we are each all so different, loving the same hobby, but we come together all wanting to do that person’s projects once you see it live. I love that about blogging and quilting.

I have created my own project for this hop, having made tons of these while we lived overseas. It was so easy for me to join this hop and create these pumpkins I could have made hundreds, to be honest. They are fun, easy and a quick project to boot… Tiny, but so fun… and so many cool things can be done with them. They also make a fun gift for someone who loves to decorate for fall, Thanksgiving, Halloween.. etc… I’ve made this up into a pattern and have a giveaway inside for those of you who might like to have the pattern.

Pumpkin Pumpkin, Who’s Got The Pumpkin…

These fun pumpkins are completely made on my sewing machine, however, I’ve also created them for my embroidery machine to be stitched in the hoop. It just depends on whether you have an embroidery machine also.

These pumpkins above are in 6 and 8-inch sizes.
Both patterns/designs come with a full photo tutorial on how to sew it,
and how to put it together.

It’s funny to think you can take just 2 little shapes and make these cute pumpkins, add some ribbon and you have a cute little basket, or a hidden box to place candy, treats, even a tea light in to bring some light into your day.

They are even fun to place in a basket with some other fun items you’ve made as a centerpiece for your table.

They will be live on Craftsy later today, I will post links on this post also.

The turkey is an FSL ornament from Criswell Embroidery It’s a 4×4 hoop project but is so beautiful when done I couldn’t resist to pair it with these pumpkins.

The other pumpkin is a reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally old design from Embroidery Library. I first purchased it all the way back in 2006.  It is very fun to make, is done in 3 hoopings (although if you have a bigger hoop you can combine them as I did into a large hoop for 1 hooping)

If you’d like to win a copy of my pattern for my pumpkins, feel free to enter below.

There are no big requirements here, just enter and enjoy.
I will give 5 patterns away, your choice,
Machine Embroidery or the Sewing Machine pattern.
