Sam In Brazil Is Now Ready..

Sam In Brazil-largeThe second Sunbonnet is now ready in the Sunbonnet Sue and Sam Travel The World Block Of The Month series. This week’s release is Sunbonnet Sam In Brazil. Available in a 9×9 and 12×12 size.

Their were several people who turned in blocks in the Flickr group, in the past few weeks. If you haven’t visited to see the blocks, be sure to go and see Sue In Brazil. Sometimes it helps to see what others have to done to get your own creative juices flowing. I love each one of them, it’s amazing to see what other people do and how they interpret their own colors to use.

When you finish and post/upload your block to the Flickr group, you’ll get one of the blocks that will go up for sale free. If you end up finishing the 24 released in 2016, you will get them all free. It’s a great way to get a “missed” block also.

Please note: You can finish any of the blocks at any time during 2016 and upload them to the Flickr group to claim one of the blocks for sale. For every block you upload to the Flickr group you can get 1 free. The one exception to this, is if you make as an example 2 Sue In Brazil blocks, you still only get 1 free choice.

This block is no longer free. It is now $4.50 at my payhip shop.

So, did you peek and see which block will be released for February yet?

It was up and down, I checked the voting almost daily, and each day it changed and in the end it was still a close call.

The winner is

As you can see, it was very close.

So, France will be the first pattern available for sale, which means those of you who have uploaded a block to Flickr can claim one of the French blocks once they become available.

I will announce the how to claim your blocks later this week.

The next poll will be up to vote with Mexico’s release on February 1.

I look forward to seeing what you do with Sam.

    1. I know and ya know, it went back and forth in the totals between the two, one day France would be winning and the next it was Mexico.. I was pretty surprised how up and down it was.

  1. I’m so glad Mexico won! France is really cute too, but we go to Mexico at least twice a year so this one means something to me. I’m working on Sue of Brazil and will post pic as soon as I’m finished with her & Thank you for Sam of Brazil too!!!

    1. You are welcome Anna, I look forward to seeing Sue when you finish her. When we lived in San Diego, we went to Mexico quite often, so I can understand why you’d be excited to have that block to. 🙂

  2. Thank you Marian. These are really cute. I appreciate you leaving these up for a while. My husband has been very sick so I work around his schedule and I may not get the pattern when it first comes out.

    1. Joyce my dear friend, I am so sorry to hear about your husband, I will add him to my prayers and hope he will be better soon.
