Sue/Sam In Louisiana Released….

stbs 2020 Sam Louisiana bI’ve been saying it for days, but trying to finish last week just took me in so many different directions. I’d planned to release this Saturday night then got sidetracked by a mistake I noticed so needed to fix it today and retest it so I knew it was correct. Thus I had to fix what I’d already written into the pattern.

Sam is the free pattern for this series for Louisiana. Louisiana is the 27th state release.

I have added the ability for people to donate for free patterns you download from me. Even a little bit helps. If you’ve enjoyed this series, please consider that there are still 23 more free patterns to come and each pattern takes a great deal of time to create. Please consider at least a 2.00 donation if you would… on 1.00, 85 cents of that alone would go to service fees, and 15 cents for me to see just isn’t worth it. You don’t have to donate anything the patterns are still free, there is nothing missing, I’m just hoping you might show your appreciation.

  1. Marian, I love your Sunbonnet Sue and Sams!

I was wondering if you have an estimate of when you will be doing Sue and Sam in Maryland. I have a great-niece being born in July, and I thought for her baby blanket I would make a Sue and Sam of her family. Her mother was born in Switzerland, her father was born in Nevada, her eldest sibling in Georgia, and her brother and her in Maryland. I didn’t want to rush you just curious if I would be able to do what I was imaging in my mind.

  2. Woo Hoo, I now have almost all of the Southeast! I need MS and SC and I think I’ll have the southeast all covered in SSand Sam. Thank you for the sale, I at least was able to catch up a little bit! You’re awesome!

  3. I realized yesterday that I actually started following you back in 2016 on Craftsy and have several of your patterns from the good old days of Craftsy. I hate that I lost track of you and never saw most of the US releases. But I do have a few of them and a few of the internationals as well. I have always loved these. I guess I”m going to have to slowly collecting the ones I don’t have–even with the sale, this COVID-19 has made it so I can’t do a lot of anything since both daughters and now husband are all unemployed and we feed all 11 of us in the family daily! I’m so glad I found you again last year!

    1. Thanks Shelly, I’m happy you found me. I feel for you tho, 11 people that’s a lot of people to be feeding at any time but right now when we are all cooped up in our homes hunkering down and trying to just not go so crazy, it’s times like this I find I myself have to not think about food just so I won’t gain any more additional weight. 🙂 I look forward to seeing more of you and look forward to getting to know you more.

  4. I’ve always wanted to visit Louisiana during Mardi Gras, and these blocks are wonderful – makes me feel like it is a virtual visit, even though I am stuck at home like many others. Stay safe and healthy, Marian, and thank you very much!

  5. Thank you so much Marian. I know it is a lot of work to make these patterns. They are very much appreciated.
