Sue/Sam NewFoundland and Colorado Released along with CCOTM Apr/May…

Its been awhile coming and I’m truly sorry these updates are as slow as they have been. I honestly have good intentions on trying to release them quicker, but my health has to come first and that has bogged me down more than I thought it would this year. At 57, I feel sometimes like I’m never going to get better and my circulation issues continue to plague me. Between having the wound care visits to fix the foot ulcer and the physical therapy for my ciruclation I am starting to feel like I live at the care centers.

We also have to move. Our lease is up this month and I’ve known for sometime that we were going to move once it was up. The property management company has been kind enough to extend us to the end of June to move by, but I have to get my act together also and try to get all packed up and ready to move by mid-June. While I love living in this house, it is just to expensive for us to live in and be able to pay off the medical expenses also. So, we have no choice at this point but to find something that is far less money. In the meantime I will still work on these patterns to try and finish them up in a more timely manner.

Today I have for you, Sue and Sam in the USA – Colorado. Sue is the free block. I also have finished Canada… yeaaa 🙂 … NewFoundland and Labrador are offically done, and the Sue block for it is also the free block.

I also have the Cupcake of the Month up for release for April and May…

The cupcakes of the month for April and May however are not free blocks, because February and March were free, April and May are for purchase blocks. June block will be free.

or you can buy them bundled and the full pattern for June will be included in this bundle once it’s released next month.

Artwork for April/May’s cupcakes are inspired by the art of Dorky Doodles.

  1. Thanks for the Sue patterns. I have had to give Sue dark brown hair for years since that is what my grand daughter’s has. She pointed that out to me by the way. Take care.

  2. THANX SO MUCH FOR SHARING YOUR TALENTS WITH us. I’m truly in love with Sunbonnet Sue and Sam. I really appreciate all of the time and effort that you put into this project. 6. Just wanted you to know you are thought of and missed. Most important thing is to take care of your health. I’m 81 and as frustrating as therapy can be it has help to get me to this age. Please take care of you first!! I just lost my 59 year old son to a major coronary and I have a 50 year old son who is dealing with ALS … SO very important to take care of you!! Love your work but it can wait!! Take Care.

  7. So sorry about your health problems. I’m in the same boat. Foot ulcer among other things. On and off insurance and no money to see doctor. New insurance kicks in in July and hopefully I can start getting things together again. Will be praying for you.

  11. Dear Marian, I hope your health improves soon. I’ve decided I agree with the saying, “gettin’ old ain’t for sissies!” Things seem to go downhill the older we get.
