I know it seems very surprising that I released two states in one week, but I had that plan last week and then it didn’t work out with having to fix the Missouri Sam block. So I worked the rest of this week to get Missouri finished so I could still release it in the same week… just a week late.
With the row along coming in September, I’ve realized I really need to get as many patterns done as possible by the time the row along starts. There just won’t be time once it starts, so it is my plan to release at least 3 more state blocks in July and 4 in August. If I’m at 40 states by September 1 it will still be feasible to finish Sue/Sam this year.
Sue is the free block for Missouri. This is the 31st state to be released.
In another note, I was approached to create a custom quilt pattern for one of the ladies who follow me. I am releasing the first block for it today also. Here is Corky Cow… more to come…
