Stranger things have happened uploading patterns when I’ve added patterns at Craftsy before. Tonight I was uploading blocks 13 and 14 and when I finished I couldn’t find where block 13 was. It shows up as a pattern in my own account’s pattern page, but it isn’t showing up in the quilt store for my profile or on the quilting page. So I’m not sure what’s happening in that respect. You can add it to your cart, but you can’t check out even. So I’ve also added them to Payhip for you tonight so that if your in a hurry to get started you can go ahead and purchase them. Please remember Payhip does cost a little bit more for patterns because I have two commissions that get paid from Payhip, one to Paypal, and one to Payhip.
Here are the links for this months blocks…
So, in my unofficial block of the month each month, this is the only release so far that I barely made the deadline on. So to the 15th of the month… at least I made it by the day it’s supposed to be released by. Anyway, this month’s cupcake represents the month of July with the patriotic celebration we are about to see next month on the 4th of July.
I’ve just found a Canadian leaf I can use in place of the star, I’ll get it drawn up this evening and add it to this pattern tomorrow on Craftsy for anyone who purchases this pattern.
Can you believe it, we are three provinces and territories away from finishing up Canada. I expect August to be the last Canadian release with the Northwest Territories in June, Saskatchewan in July, and Newfoundland/Labrador in August. Once they are done, I will release 3 USA patterns each month as I am really trying to finish these up by end of the year or early next year.
Please note… EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY … new Flickr changes are in store. Because of changes coming to Flickr next week, I need to change how the Flickr Reward is done. From here on in, images will go in a gallery on this blog. Images will need to be emailed to me, whether you upload them via the reward form, or send them individually. You can still upload to Flickr, but groups at Flickr are changing where each person can only have a total of 30 images per group. This will not work in regards to the USA Sue/Sam group, so it needs to change. However, I am making this change to all Flickr Rewards on my site, including Twas The Night. All pages in regards to the Flickr Reward will change to reflect this change. I do not use a cell phone, so am unable to use Instagram instead of the reward feature. Thus, I’ve chosen to just place them on my blog. I like this idea better anyway, I think it will be easier for you to do each time.
Free patterns this month are Sam In British Columbia, Sam In Pennsylvania, and Sue In Nevada.
Well, I finally got these patterns done and uploaded. I apologize to those of you who got to see the preview last night on Facebook. I got the free patterns done and went to start on this post… Frank called me downstairs to do something and when I came back up, I totally forgot about writing the post and instead just went to bed. So here I am first thing this morning… writing the post 🙂
Let’s just get to the nitty and the gritty of it, the free patterns for this Sue and Sam release are, Sue In Texas, Sam In Rhode Island, and Sue In Nunavut. The cupcake of the month release for April is also in this post.
Let’s go get those free patterns
I wanted to post a little note real quick today. 30 Blocks In 30 Days started yesterday, my day for this hop is April 20th, and I’ve got a great giveaway for you that day also. You will want to be sure you stop in and enter it that day.
In the meantime I’m posting the full schedule for you, it started yesterday, but ya’ll know how I feel about posting on weekends, I only do it when really really necessary.
I’ve also updated the 2018 BOTM page with some new botms and qals. Continue reading
Its that time again of the month where I release the next cupcake. This months cupcake represents Easter for April. It’s a cute basket of eggs. I’m very happy with how this pattern turned out, I hope you to will like it.
I’ve also released 2 new pieced pattern sets, one with a Winter theme, the other with a St. Patrick’s Day theme.
This months cupcake 9-inch pattern is free.
I can’t believe it, but I managed to finish them and get them all uploaded in time and now I still have time to write this post today and release Sue and Sam In Iowa, New York, and New Brunswick… I am happy, happy, happy… I love it when I can actually do it when I say I will get it done, ya’ll know that doesn’t happen often with me. 🙂
I even had time to make that image you see to the left… Fun Eh!! hehehe
Call me crazy, I’m just happy to get these released.
