Oh Man, it’s been quite a week. After Monday last week, I was so busy, I just didn’t have the time to do any posting. I needed to finish our wedding gift for our nephew who got married this past Saturday.
I did finish adding the Continuous Line patterns to those of you who ordered the bundles.
On another front, I’ve also been busy finishing up block 10 for Twas The Night and I expect to release that on Friday. Sunbonnet Sue/Sam will also see a release possibly Friday or Monday.
For the last few weeks, the 2017 Island Batik Ambassadors for 2017 have been doing a blog hop with the theme of the Four Seasons, featuring fabrics that are coming out in the quilt shops over the next few months.
Today I am doing a project with a Fall Theme in mind, the line I am showing is called the Pumpkin Patch collection. I love love love the fabrics in this collection.
These are the beautiful fabrics in the Pumpkin Patch Collection.
It’s a little kitty playing with a heart today in a cute and whimsical continuous line design.
In a twist of fate, I discovered to my surprise a pattern I gave away last year during the A Fresh Snow blog hop was never released for sale… It has several patterns that go with it, so I’ve made another from that set as a free pattern thru this weekend only.
Have a look inside… it’s the only way to get it freely…
We finally had some snow here yesterday. While it’s not a ton of it, it was nice to see some white stuff on the ground. I was totally happy.
Today’s release is a fun cute lil bear that you can do in a continuous line while quilting or doing simple embroidery, redwork type designs. This is such a cute little bear, I hope you enjoy it.
I expect to release Block 9 for Twas The Night Before Christmas later today, but block 10 I am sorry to say will have to wait until next week or until I finish my Island Batik project for next Monday’s blog hop. I am ready to start the quilting on this project and I am a very slow machine quilter. It’s the one part of quilting that I actually take my time doing. I also have not quilted a large project on this machine in a really long time, so I will be going slowly anyway to learn the ins and outs of it. Perhaps later this week I’ll post a little preview for you.
I know I am very late posting today, I hadn’t planned it that way, once again, we had no internet most of the day as it turned out it was on/off most of the day. I did notice the cable company outside doing repairs today, so hopefully, they have found the issue and it’s resolved, this is becoming a little frustrating.
Many of you have asked me this week if I am planning to bundle the Continuous Line Designs. The answer is, yes, I am, and I uploaded a bundle today on Craftsy. It’s a pretty good deal thru the weekend only at 15.00 for all 14 patterns. It includes all the Continue reading
This is a really quick post… I had a hard time deciding what to do today and because I want to post quickly, I just decided to go without a free pattern today.
My last tester turned in her block last night for TTNBC block 10 and so today I’m trying to get the pattern written up for release possibly tomorrow. If it’s not tomorrow, I will release it Saturday. I do want to get the pattern out to everyone.
Today’s next release is from the wonderful artwork of Dottoo Dots.
This is a really quick post today, I was right in the middle of finishing up my applique block for the Island Batik blog hop when I realized I needed to post. I discovered the coolest technique today just by sheer accident and I can’t wait to share it all with you. I plan to do it on my day of the hop, it should be quite fun and I think you also will just love it.
In the meantime, today I have a free block for you, and another continuous line design from Dottoo Dots.
