So here we are… Week 9, and just 3 more weeks to go. How are you coming on your project, are you finishing the shapes each week? I’d love to see what your up to, why not upload yours to the Flickr Group so I can see how you are coming along.
This block is an 8×8 shape, the pdf includes both the reversed and non-reversed shapes. It does also include machine embroidery files. However, because there are so few outlines, using the markers makes more sense.
I don’t know about you, but the last six weeks has really been an amazing gift.
To bring 19 bloggers together, and thousands of quilters visiting our sites enjoying the patterns and the learning experience with the Electric Quilt tutorials has been a wonderful and joyous delight.
I never dreamed that it would all come together so quickly, and then end just as quick. These weeks have just whizzed right by and before you know it, we’ll be in 2016.
I truly hope you have enjoyed this experience as much as I have, hopefully, you’ve found a few new blogs to follow, left some comments that the bloggers smiled over, and in the end browsed away knowing you had a fun time visiting with us.
Here we are in week 8 and close to finishing up.. This week is the Shepherd Boy, and the two sheep. These are very very easy to applique. While the boy does have more shapes than the sheep do, it’s still an easy shape to put together.
No tutorials this week, just straight downloads to your shapes of the week.
It’s so hard to believe that we are so close to Halloween, but before you know it, Halloween to will soon be upon us.
We have 48 blogs participating in Halloween Haunts, and I’m very excited to see what they all are doing.
The Fat Quarter Shop is giving a $25.00 gift certificate for each day of this hop, You can enter at any of the featured sites of the day. I will announce the winner daily, and it will also be featured on any of the blogs that featured the giveaway entry for that featured day.
Today is the start of week 6 and the last week for the EQ Seasons Row-A-Long.
It’s been a HUGE pleasure to host this Row-A-Long on my blog. I’ve had the ability to get to know many of the participating bloggers in a way that I never anticipated, they’ve become friends, and I’m proud to know them. They truly deserve all the credit for making this a successful event.
I wish to thank all of you who’ve commented, who’ve sent emails, those of you who have really let us know you’ve enjoyed this event.
I also wish to thank the sponsors, each of whom contributed freely and were generous with their response. You helped make this event a huge success.
