Hi all, I know it seems silly to release these literally the day before Valentine’s. It’s been somewhat difficult to get these done when I wanted to release them as I gained permission to distribute SVG cutting files from artwork during the creation of these patterns and of course, I had to take the time to create the SVG files, thus, they are getting released today.
Most of today’s patterns are very quick and easy and require little or no embroidery. I sure hope you like them.
These come in sizes 9×12 and 12×15, both sizes in each pattern. None of the patterns in this set include SVG Custting files (still trying to obtain permission to distribute) but some of them do have machine embroidery files.
When you purchase the full set, a bonus pattern has been included, making that 10 patterns in the set.
Of course, I also have a free pattern for you inside the post also.
I really wanted to get these done in December, but block 22 has so much detail it has literally taken me the last 3 weeks to write this pattern. By itself, it has 158 pages in the pdf. It’s mainly the embroidery section, the block just has a lot of detail. With it being 2020, I’ve also made a small change to my patterns for the new year and I hope you’ll like the change… You’ll see it in every 2020 pattern this year.
If you were here yesterday, you saw the free pattern I’m giving away till Monday. I am releasing the full set of animals today also.
We’ll have a Sunbonnet Sue/Sam release Continue reading
We finally had some snow here yesterday. While it’s not a ton of it, it was nice to see some white stuff on the ground. I was totally happy.
Today’s release is a fun cute lil bear that you can do in a continuous line while quilting or doing simple embroidery, redwork type designs. This is such a cute little bear, I hope you enjoy it.
I expect to release Block 9 for Twas The Night Before Christmas later today, but block 10 I am sorry to say will have to wait until next week or until I finish my Island Batik project for next Monday’s blog hop. I am ready to start the quilting on this project and I am a very slow machine quilter. It’s the one part of quilting that I actually take my time doing. I also have not quilted a large project on this machine in a really long time, so I will be going slowly anyway to learn the ins and outs of it. Perhaps later this week I’ll post a little preview for you.
This is a really quick post… I had a hard time deciding what to do today and because I want to post quickly, I just decided to go without a free pattern today.
My last tester turned in her block last night for TTNBC block 10 and so today I’m trying to get the pattern written up for release possibly tomorrow. If it’s not tomorrow, I will release it Saturday. I do want to get the pattern out to everyone.
Today’s next release is from the wonderful artwork of Dottoo Dots.
This is a really quick post today, I was right in the middle of finishing up my applique block for the Island Batik blog hop when I realized I needed to post. I discovered the coolest technique today just by sheer accident and I can’t wait to share it all with you. I plan to do it on my day of the hop, it should be quite fun and I think you also will just love it.
In the meantime, today I have a free block for you, and another continuous line design from Dottoo Dots.
I have been a busy little beaver of late, before ya know it, I might have missed Groundhog Day if I wasn’t looking… This year, winter just seems to be taking it’s toll on my little ole body.. Cold after Cold, flu after flu, and the sneezing is driving me batty.. I got to thinking about Ground Hog day today and realized that I might sneeze it right on by… LOL I know summer people probably look forward to Groundhog Day, because it means that their might only be six weeks of winter left. Traditionally, I like winter to go on as along as it possibly can. I am just not into the heat of summer, in fact I’m more prone to stay inside in the summer than I am any other part of the year.
