How To With Payhip

PayhipPayhip is the cart I have used now for the last 5 years. It’s a simple cart to use, but for those who wonder how to enter those coupon codes, I thought I’d give you a quick walk thru…

First, add your item(s) to the cart. Sometimes you might see a feature known as a cross-sell which tries to sell you a different product with a discount attached to it. I do this quite often when products are similar.

Adding free patterns to the cart is easy, simply click the buy now or add to cart button and check out. Put your email address and name on the cart page and click continue. It should then give you the option to download your pdf. You will also receive an email receipt of your purchase.

When a product has a cross-sell item on it, you will see a little popup window popup after you click buy now or add to cart. There is always a little incentive to help you decide whether to purchase that pattern.

To add the cross-sell product that shows, simply click the + Add to Cart button.

My free patterns offer you the ability to offer a donation for the time it takes to create free patterns. This is always appreciated even when it’s $1 or $2.00. It may not cover much, but it tells me you really appreciate my patterns and gives me an incentive to keep creating them for you.

If your ready, you can then check out.

Type in your email address and this is important, if you use a fake address, you won’t receive the link with the download url in the email and that can be pretty important if you’re currently using an older ipad or mobile device to go thru the cart with as Payhip doesn’t like some of these devices and creates a corrupt download, so to download it later, use a real email address. The other thing with a real email address and real name and last name is that if your purchasing something that has a price attached to it and later need to download it, I’ll replace any purchased pattern download at a later time, so using your real name and email is a good idea because if I can’t find you then you’re going to get an “I’m sorry I can’t find that purchase” in my listings. Paypal and/or Stripe do not make it easy to search for you either, so keep those email receipts handy.

Where you see the “Have a coupon code? Add coupon, click on the words Add coupon

Add the coupon code and click the button to apply the coupon code.

It will then show you the new price and you can continue with your purchase.

Questions? Please let me know I’ll do my best to answer quickly.

A few notes.

I do not give refunds on digital downloads. If you’ve purchased one of my patterns and are unhappy with it feel free to contact me to discuss the problem. I’ll do my best to help. Please be sure when you purchase that you want the pattern.

I hate bringing this up but pirating or in other words, the sharing of my patterns in any form is illegal, and all of my patterns at Payhip are stamped with your email, and date of purchase. This is also a good way to find out when your purchase date was and the email you used to purchase with should you need a replacement pattern down the road.

I am an affiliate of the above companies when you click one of these links and purchase something, I earn a little bit of a commission with it. I use this money to help maintain my website and offer my free patterns to you. Every little bit helps, thank you so much for clicking and for your support. I don’t just offer up these brands to you I actually use their products and shop at these places. I would never partner with someone whose products I didn’t use.

Please remember it takes 2 minutes to comment, please say Thank You, whether you downloaded a free pattern, read a tutorial, or just learned something new.  It takes time for people to write a post, take pictures, make a project or even write a pattern.
Let them know you appreciate it.

If your comment doesn’t show up after you post it, it’s most likely gone to the spam folder. I will see it and approve it, unfortunately, it just means something about your email address caught my spam filter’s eye.
