Stranger things have happened uploading patterns when I’ve added patterns at Craftsy before. Tonight I was uploading blocks 13 and 14 and when I finished I couldn’t find where block 13 was. It shows up as a pattern in my own account’s pattern page, but it isn’t showing up in the quilt store for my profile or on the quilting page. So I’m not sure what’s happening in that respect. You can add it to your cart, but you can’t check out even. So I’ve also added them to Payhip for you tonight so that if your in a hurry to get started you can go ahead and purchase them. Please remember Payhip does cost a little bit more for patterns because I have two commissions that get paid from Payhip, one to Paypal, and one to Payhip.
Here are the links for this months blocks…
We are into day 03 with just two more days to go of Quilt Qwazy Queens. If your going to comment today, tell me what you did for Worldwide Quilting Day? Did you visit your local quilt shop? Make something special? Start a new project? me? I sewed all day taking a few breaks for email and checking Facebook and then back to my machine I went… With this in mind, we’ve seen lots of great projects so far, even some of those wonderful UFOs that baffles every quilter, even if your a quilter who finishes everything, you might still save scraps, or small test blocks, all of of which can be used to start new projects that may end up in the UFO bin.
I have enjoyed seeing how you store some of your UFOs, as well as reading the ideas of what you can do with them as you finish them. I liked the idea of finishing the tops to have them ready to be quilted for those last minute gifts we all run into at times. I need to get on top of that. 🙂
I’m looking forward to seeing what’s in store today from our bloggers… Here’s the schedule…

Sorry, everyone, I was determined to get the TTNBC Block 09 pattern released the other day then got stuck at the car repair all day on Tuesday. I sat there waiting for my car to be fixed and ended up getting a rental car until the next day.
Either or, I worked on it all day yesterday to finish and finally got it done. In the meantime, I did upload the Continuous Line patterns to the bundles each day for those of you who purchased the bundle, if you haven’t downloaded them since you purchased you may want to go and do that. The last 2 patterns will be released tomorrow and Monday for the bundles, and Monday will be the last day for the free patterns on my blog along with my project for Island Batik.
So, let’s get down to the nitty and the gritty…
Somewhere in this world, at least 1 person hasn’t even started there Christmas shopping. I can remember as a single person always waiting until the day before Christmas to hit the malls and get it done at that time. Back then, there was no internet, the malls and shops were always very busy, parking was a nightmare. When I got married that all changed. Everyone in my new family was not even in the same state we were, so we had no choice but to ship everything. In today’s world, thank goodness for the internet, I can shop online and have it delivered right to them, no need to wrap, no need to guess at what they like or dislike, a gift card does the whole thing nicely. I love gift cards. I do give gifts of my sewing projects, but I’ll be the first to admit, that my sewing this year has concentrated mostly on wedding gifts I’ve made for the wedding were just at, and the wedding we have in February to go to.
I hope you have your shopping and even your sewing done. By the time you get to this date in December, it’s not too likely you’re going to even get a package to someone in time for it to arrive by Christmas Day. I think all the shippers have set today as the last day to do Express type mail, so if your planning to still ship… you need to Express it today.
So today, I’ve asked the previous designers of the Christmas Caroling Row Along Continue reading
It is amazing how fast these days go by, it always feels like a “hurried” part of the year when December rolls around and I knew when I started this three years ago it had the potential to stress me out. Over the years, the only thing that seems to stress me out is the hurried nature of it all, people rushing to get that certain gift, crying when they are told “wait for Santa” (I so remember those familiar words spoken by my parents) the rush to get the tree up, decorations, cookies and candies made, and by our own nature, we either just soak it in, or we stress out about it. This year, my only stresser was day 2, and the wedding… I wondered if I was going to be able to keep up. Well… for the most part I have. I held off posting this morning until now because my hosting service was doing routine maintenance last night and it was very slow trying to write the post, so I finally said to myself, awwww Screw It and went to bed.
Today’s pattern is one of my favorite things about Christmas… A beautiful Poinsettia. I wish it were real so you could have the scent also, but the 9-inch free pattern will just have to do. I hope you love it as much as I do.
My apologies for the very late in the day posting. I was not able to get on the internet, the good news is that Comcast has been here today and hopefully fixed the problem. We were gone for a bit this evening so I haven’t been able to get this posted until now.
Today’s lovely pattern is one of my newest continuous line designs for hand and free motion quilters. I need to test the machine embroidery designs still so they haven’t been released as yet, but I think you will really love this set of borders and corners.
Today’s Free pattern is pattern 04 in this set in the 3-inch border size.
Because I am late, this file will remain free thru Sunday night at 10pm mst, I will then remove it from Payhip.
You do not want to miss Monday’s Day 12… I saved the very best for last…. well I think it’s my best pattern of this 12 days… 🙂 Hopefully you will all tell me you love it to 🙂
This is a pretty quick pattern to make today. Simple and Fun, you can easily make this into a photo frame, tags, or small ornaments.
There are two patterns in the pdf, one is for a tall frame, and the other is for a wider frame. I hope you’ll find these as cute as I do.
My internet was down for a bit this evening, and I have yet to be to bed as I was waiting for it to come back up, so this is a short post so that I can hit the hay…
The full pattern of these frames come with 5×7 and 7×5 sizes along with the SVG cutting files.
